Dolphins spotted on a Helford River Cruise

Amazing cruise along the Helford River last week. Launching from the Budock Vean Hotel quay we enjoyed the tranquil Frenchman’s Creek with egrets and herons in the trees. Customers were able to enjoy the sound of the birds when we turn the boat engine off in the creek.

Cruising back up the Helford River past Trebah Gardens, Glendurgan and Helford Village we reached the mouth of the river where a pod of dolphins joined us, playing in front of the bow of the boat.

Tom  Wildblood, co-owner of Helford River Cruises was driving the boat said:”That was an incredible experience and wonderful to see the dolphins display such acrobatics in front of us.”

Helford River Cruises take up to 12 people on their cruises and have cruising running daily. Private Charters are also available.
