It’s the annual Helford River Gig Race from Gweek

It’s the annual Helford River Gig Race from Gweek near the @cornishsealsanctuary to Helford Passage @theferryboathelford and you catch some of the action from the water on our Helford River Cruise today, 3pm start!

Pilot gig races are massive sport in Cornwall and the gig were originally used as lifeboats and to pilot booger ships into Port in Falmouth and Newquay!
