It’s the Helford River Head Gig Race from the mo

It’s the Helford River Head Gig Race from the mouth of the river to Gweek today. Gigs will be leaving Helford Passage for the starting line at 1545 and our boat trip leaves @budockveanhotel at 1600 so perfect timing to catch some of the race from the water. We can take in Frenchman’s Creek to enroute. No takers on the boat yet today and so opportunity for a private charter for upto 12 with dogs too if anyone keen. It’s always quite a spectacular sight! There’s activities and bbq on Helford Passage beach all day too but the race is the best bit and with Hannah Molly we get close to the action!

There’s also time to make a day of it with lunch 12-2pm and afternoon teas 3-5pm served on @budockveanhotel terrace.

All kicks off at 1645 at the head of the and ends at Gweek which is perfectly timed for our boat trip which leaves @budockveanhotel at 4pm!
